Argentina dominates USA in Copa America Centenario
The Argentine national team did not need much time to impose their supremacy over the United States in the first semifinal of the Copa America Centenario. Ezequiel Lavezzi scored the winning goal.
Early goal by Lavezzi
The goal came in the 2nd minute of the match. A corner kick for Argentina led to the goal by Lavezzi. Instead of a long cross, they opted for a short touch towards Lionel Messi.

Messi's perfect assist
The Argentine 'number 10' came up with the idea of sending a perfect high pass to Ezequiel Lavezzi, who performed a neck twist to give the ball better direction and leave Brad Guzan, the goalkeeper for the United States, off balance.
Messi and Lavezzi shine
Lionel Messi's assist tonight against the United States brings his total to three in the tournament. Previously, he had two assists in the 4-1 victory over Venezuela at Gillette Stadium. Meanwhile, Ezequiel Lavezzi scored his second goal in the Copa America Centenario.
