SUSPENSION OF LUIS RUBIALES BÉJAR, PRESIDENT OF THE ROYAL SPANISH FOOTBALL FEDERATION

The FIFA has suspended Luis Rubiales Béjar, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), for kissing player Jenni Hermoso Fuentes, 33 years old, without her consent, after the end of the World Cup in Australia.

"Today we have decided the provisional suspension of Mr. Luis Rubiales from all football-related activities at the national and international level", stated the governing body of world football in a press release.

VICTIM OF AN ASSAULT

The suspension is for 90 days, while "the disciplinary proceedings are being processed". FIFA also specified that Rubiales Béjar and the members of the RFEF are prohibited from contacting Jenni Hermoso.

The football player stated on Friday that she felt "vulnerable and victim of an assault" when she received the kiss from Rubiales, last Sunday at the end of the World Cup, won by the Spanish national team against England's.
