The Mexican Football Federation has announced the project for the development of women's football at the national team level.

Ivar Sisniega, president of the FMF, has shared the primary goals that have been established for Mexican women's teams in different categories. One of the main goals is to qualify for all World Cups in both the senior category and the youth categories, and also to advance to the second round in these tournaments. This reflects the federation's confidence and determination to raise the competitive level of the teams and excel internationally.

FMF seeks to strengthen Mexico's leadership position in Concacaf, raising the competition and performance of the teams in the region. This will not only contribute to the growth of women's soccer in Mexico, but also consolidate the country's presence in the confederation's football landscape.

Another important objective is qualification and the pursuit of medals in continental events. This reinforces FMF's commitment to ensure that the Mexican women's national teams are constant contenders in major tournaments and demonstrate their worth at the international level.

The director of women's national teams, Andrea Rodebaugh, emphasizes that talent recruitment will continue to be a key priority in the development of national teams. Strategies are being implemented to continue identifying and nurturing talent of players both in Mexico and abroad, ensuring a constant growth of the talent pool.

Andrea Rodebaugh's extensive experience in women's soccer provides a valuable perspective to lead this project. Her focus on generating a solid network of support and knowledge is evident in the collaboration with Pedro López, head coach of the senior team, and in the adoption of successful trends and practices from other countries.

This new project also introduces the coaches who will lead the women's national teams in different categories. Pedro López will lead the senior team, Ana Laura Galindo will be in charge of the U-20, and Jimena Rojas will lead the U-17 and U-15 teams.

With clear objectives and a team of experienced leaders, FMF seeks to further boost the development and success of women's soccer in Mexico, establishing a promising path for the national women's teams in the coming years.
