Peru Debut in the Qualifiers
A few weeks before the start of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, Conmebol announced the day and time of the matches of the Peruvian national team against Chile and Argentina, respectively.
The Peruvian team will visit Santiago on October 12th to face the "mapocha" team. Four days later, the team led by Juan Reynoso will host the current world champion, although the stadium is not known yet, it is likely to be played at the National Stadium.
Debut of Peru in the Qualifiers
The national team will start their World Cup dream on Thursday, September 7th, in the match against Paraguay.
On Tuesday, September 12th, accompanied by the Peruvian fans, they will play as the home team at the National Stadium against Brazil, a country that won't be able to count on Neymar due to injury.
It is worth mentioning that this Friday, August 25th, the coach of the Peruvian national team, Juan Reynoso, will announce the list of players called up for the first matches of the qualifiers against Paraguay and Brazil.
