The former soccer player Roberto Palacios analyzed in 'La Hora de Lalo' the possible call-up of Juan Reynoso to face the start of the 2026 Qualifiers, where the Peruvian National Team will face Paraguay (A) and Brazil (H) in the September double date.
Furthermore, the 'Chorri' recommended that the national coach should start giving opportunities to local players.

"It would be interesting for Juan to start seeing some young players who have the possibility to alternate, but I consider that, for these matches, Reynoso will have the same players he played with in the last matches," he said on Radio Ovación.
"I think it is important for a national team to bring out young players because that is motivating for a kid to continue fighting for their goals and not think that it is impossible to reach the national team. Surely, in the next matches, Juan will give a chance to the local players," he added.
Regarding the present of his son Brandon, who plays for Binacional, Roberto Palacios acknowledged that he is doing well. "Thank God my son is doing well, it's a shame that his partner, Andy Polar, is injured and the team misses him. Brandon is having a good year and we hope they save the category," he said.
The called-up players for the National Team
The manager of the FPF national teams, Antonio García Pye, indicated that the call-up process will develop as indicated by the FIFA regulations: sending player reservation letters to clubs 15 days before the start of the FIFA date.
Regarding the date when the coach Juan Reynoso will present the list of called-up players, he stated the following: "I estimate that on August 25, the squad will be announced to start on Monday, August 28, with the players who are playing in the local championship."
