Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, suffers cardiac arrest
"Yesterday, while practicing, Bronny James suffered cardiac arrest," said a spokesperson for the James family in a statement. "Medical staff were able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is currently stable and no longer in the ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and will update the media when there is more information."

Damar Hamlin, safety for the Buffalo Bills, who resumed his career after suffering cardiac arrest during a Monday Night Football game last season, tweeted his support to James.

James, 18, is entering his freshman year at USC Trojans and is ranked 20th in the ESPN 100 for 2023. He is the sixth-ranked point guard in the class of 2023.
