We are one step away from the end of the season of 'The walking dead: Dead city' and considering the confirmation of its second part, another one of the important projects that the continuation of the original series that culminated a couple of years ago will bring is the return of Rick Grimes alongside Michonne, who will star in a new post-apocalyptic adventure. Discover more details in the following note.
Through the presentation given by AMC at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, some details of the new productions that the now-called 'The Walking Dead Universe' will bring were shown, and one of the things that surprised fans was the brief teaser revealing the official name of the show that will bring back the character portrayed by Andrew Lincoln to the screens.
Rick and Michonne show first preview of the series
In that sense, although it was originally announced that he would return with three films, the network finally confirmed a spin-off series that will be known as "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live", which would translate to "Aquellos que viven", a completely different title than the one previously announced as "Rick & Michonne".
When will "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" premiere?
At the moment there is no official release date, but it is known that it will arrive at some point in 2024, accompanied by a batch of six episodes just like "Dead City", with the story of Negan and Maggie in Manhattan.
Furthermore, it will come after 'Daryl Dixon', a show that we will be able to enjoy on September 11, 2023, being the second spin-off production of the main characters we saw in the original AMC series.
