The Ecuadorian cyclist Jonathan Narváez from the INEOS Grenadiers team won the second stage of the Tour of Austria and climbed to first place in the overall classification.
Narváez finished first in the stage from St. Anton Am Arlberg to Innsbruck, with a time of 03:28:41, covering a distance of 158.8 kilometers. In the first stage, he had finished in second place, behind Pascal Ackermann.

With those two good performances, Jonathan Narváez reached first place in the general classification with a total time of 06:51:31, and opened a 9-second lead over Ackermann, who finished in 24th place.
The third stage will be between Sillian and Sankt Johann-Alpendorf, covering a distance of 148.5 kilometers. The Tour of Austria consists of five stages and will finish on July 6.
