No plans to return to Liga 1 Betsson: Miguel Trauco expressed his desire to stay in the MLS.

The left-back of the Peruvian National Team spoke about his great present in the MLS and, of course, about the challenges he will have with the national team, against South Korea and Japan.

Last Saturday, Miguel Trauco gave San Jose Earthquakes a victory (2-1 over Philadelphia Union) with a great long-range shot. Although the left-back of the Peruvian National Team had a hard time earning a place on the American team, in the last few performances he has paid off - with flying colors - the trust placed by his coach (Luis González), playing every minute in the team's recent seven official matches. Without a doubt, he arrives with competition rhythm to the challenges of the White and Red team against South Korea and Japan, to be played on the 16th and 20th of this month, respectively.

"I want to stay longer in the MLS. I haven't planned to return to the Liga 1 Betsson yet, but I don't have a crystal ball to know what might happen," said the left-back of San Jose Earthquakes after the practice sessions of the bicolor squad in Seoul.

Miguel Trauco is aware that he is in an important stage of his career, so every decision he makes must be related to his best future, the same one that -he hopes- remains linked to the Peruvian National Team. A key detail to be taken into account by Juan Reynoso in the Qualifiers.

"I'm happy with the goal I scored last weekend and even more for contributing to my team's victory, that's why I arrive motivated to the Peruvian National Team. I'm already 30 years old and that's why I'm taking this moment of my life very seriously," he added.

When will the Peruvian National Team's matches be?

The Peruvian National Team has been training in Seoul since Sunday, June 11th and, once the delegation is complete with the players who play abroad, Juan Reynoso will start working on the scheme and variations that he will propose for these friendly matches in the Asian continent. So far, the 'Cabezón' has coached six matches with the 'Bicolor' and these will be two interesting tests thinking about the Qualifiers.

The match against South Korea is scheduled for Friday, June 16th starting at 6:00 a.m. (8:00 p.m. Korean time) and will be played at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium (Busan). On the other hand, the match against Japan is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20th starting at 4:55 a.m. (6:55 p.m. Japanese time) and will take place at the Panasonic Stadium Suita (Osaka).
