‘A Beautiful Story’ was the name of the ceremony in which River Plate paid tribute to one of their greatest idols, Marcelo Gallardo. In attendance at the event was his friend and former teammate, Marcelo Salas.
The ‘Matador’ was welcomed with applause by the Argentine fans, as he was present in Argentina to be part of the tribute to ‘Muñeco’, with whom he shared his two stints as a player for the ‘millonario’ club from 1996 to 1998 and 2003 to 2005.
