Tournament Opening regularized this Tuesday, May 16 with the closing of matchweek 2 (pending matches), where Alianza Lima took an 8-point lead over Universitario at the top of the championship.
Sporting Cristal did the same in Tarapoto and recovered the path to victory after the 1-6 against Unión Comercio. The celestials are far from the Apertura title, but they want to finish as high as possible before the end of this first tournament.
Universitario stumbled against Alianza Atlético in Sullana and lost 3-1, while Alianza Lima came back 2-1 against Deportivo Municipal and is one step away from becoming the champion of the Apertura.
Remember that all these matches, except for Carlos Mannucci, can be watched on the Liga 1 Max channel, which holds the rights to the Peruvian championship.
