Retirement AFP 2023: Calle requests prioritizing the bill to withdraw up to 19,800 soles

Last Wednesday, the project was presented which "aims to authorize in an extraordinary and optional manner the withdrawal of accumulated funds in their individual capitalization accounts by affiliates to the Private Pension Fund Administration System (AFP)," indicates the text.
If the opinion, presented by Digna Calle Lobatón, Congresswoman of Podemos Perú, is approved, AFP affiliates can request the withdrawal of their funds of up to 4 UIT from the total of their Individual Account of Mandatory Contributions that they have until the date of the application process.
Likewise, the parliamentarian Digna Calle urged the Economy Committee of the Legislative Power to prioritize the bill urgently in order to debate it at the Plenary of the Republic.
"There are 4 days left for the legislature to end, and the Congress has the opportunity to help the economy of families by approving a new withdrawal of their funds from the AFP. That's why I asked the Economy Committee to prioritize the opinion of my project," the congresswoman published on her official Twitter account.
"Please consider this letter as a way to send my greetings and at the same time request that you prioritize the preparation and debate of the predictamen of bill No. 4201/2022-CR, 'Law authorizing affiliates to the private pension fund administration system, to the optional withdrawal of their funds up to an amount of 4 UIT,' authored by me, assigned to the Commission that you preside," it is informed.
