The forward of the Peruvian national team, Santiago Ormeño, will not continue in the ranks of Chivas de Guadalajara. This was reported by Fox Sports Radio Mexico, a program in which it was clarified that he will not be considered by the coach Veljko Paunović for the Clausura 2023 Tournament of the Liga MX.

Ormeño arrived at Chivas in 2022 in a signing that brought some controversy, as some fans did not like that a player representing another national team plays for a team that is characterized by having only Mexicans in its squad.
The popular 'Ormedeus' played little in Guadalajara, although about 3 weeks ago he surprised by scoring a hat trick in Chivas' 4-0 victory over Santos Laguna in the Copa MX.
Ormeño's departure from the club, with only one match of the Clausura played, is due to the fact that the Peruvian striker is not in the plans of coach Veljko Paunović. The former León player also has a 3-year contract with Chivas but, according to the mentioned sports media, they have already informed him to look for a new team.
In this situation, the possibility of returning to Peruvian football opens up, where the Apertura Tournament has not yet started and the transfer window is open until March. Ormeño has already played in the Liga 1, he did it in 2019 when he wore the shirt of Real Garcilaso del Cusco.
