In the lineup presented by Carlos Ancelotti, there are three French players (Tchouaméni, Mendy, and Benzema), two Germans (Rüdiger and Kroos), two Brazilians (Vini and Militao), one Croatian (Modric), one Belgian (Courtois), one Austrian (Alaba), and one Uruguayan (Valverde).

The Spaniards who had the trust of the coach were Marco Asensio and Dani Carvajal. The first one stayed on the bench due to technical decision, while the second one is recovering from an injury.
