The board of directors of WWE approved the return of Vince K. McMahon after months of his departure as CEO following sexual scandals that tarnished the company.
McMahon, as majority shareholder, requested his return and the removal of three board members, in this case Alan Wexler, JoEllen Lyons Dillon, and Jeffrey Speed, independent directors, so that he and his former co-presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson can assume their positions.
