Diego Buonanotte is trending on social media after Sporting Cristal president Joel Raffo confirmed that the Argentine midfielder is not in the plans of Brazilian coach Tiago Nunes.

Today, during the presentation of Ignacio Da Silva, the latest reinforcement of the season for Sporting Cristal, Joel Raffo answered the question from the press about the future of Diego Buonanotte.
Raffo made it clear that Diego Buonanotte does not fit the profile sought by Brazilian coach Tiago Nunes, and that is why they will seek to terminate the contract by mutual agreement.
The president of Sporting Cristal also revealed Buonanotte's stance on the possibility of being loaned to another team. The Argentine made it clear that he will not play for any club in Peru other than the celeste team.
"Diego Buonanotte has no intention of playing for any Peruvian club other than Sporting Cristal," Raffo said amid speculation of a possible loan for the midfielder.
Buonanotte, 34, has a valid contract with Sporting Cristal until the end of 2023. He came from the Universidad Católica in Chile.
