Nuevo retiro AFP 2022: How will the withdrawal be made?
The congressman of Peru Libre indicated that the withdrawal would be 2 UIT equivalent to 9,200 soles. The amount would be delivered in two parts every 30 calendar days, through the bank entity that administers the affiliate's funds.
In addition, the proposal aims to provide contributors to the Private Pension System (SPP) with a greater number of benefits for their funds, as well as alternatives for their use.
"They can also choose to disaffiliate from the administration of this, with the aim that the money from their fund is deposited in a fixed-term bank entity of their choice, for a period of no less than two years, with a higher interest rate on their contributions, so that the affiliate, after said period, can choose what actions to take regarding their money, covering their pension future," the bill reads.
Likewise, it was indicated that the advice to affiliates will be provided by the Superintendencia de Banca y Seguros (SBS) because a permanent advisory office will be created for contributors who wish to disaffiliate from the administration of an AFP.
