The Uruguayan goalkeeper signed with Alianza Atlético de Sullana, who announced the signing through a video posted on social media.
"Go Vendaval, go Diego!", says the message shared by the Sullana club, which includes Melián for the entire 2023 season.
Diego Melián, who came through the youth ranks of Danubio, made his professional football debut with Racing de Montevideo, from where he joined Deportivo Municipal in early 2020.
