Nintendo announced that it will hold the Mario Strikers Battle League video game tournament. Also known as the 'Battle League Copa Latinoamérica', the Japanese company will reward the best players in the region.
To participate, players need a copy of the game (exclusive to the Nintendo Switch) and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. In addition, the prizes include Nintendo Switch OLED, Standard and Lite consoles, as well as commemorative medals, backpacks, and jackets.
This free tournament will take place in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, and will be for players over 14 years old. JVLAT and Nintendo are organizing it.

Each country will have its own national tournament. With 1 vs. 1 matches, this phase will take place simultaneously between December 8 and 14, divided into three qualifying rounds.
Between December 16 and 21, we will know the six winners from each country. And on December 22, the players will face each other. Nintendo confirmed that these two phases of the tournament will be broadcasted (and hosted by casters) on Nintendo's official channels in Latin America.

It is worth mentioning that registration for the Mario Strikers: Battle League Copa Latinoamérica is already open and can be done at this link. Registration will close on December 4.
