James Rodríguez is gradually becoming the best player of Olympiacos, due to how influential he is being in his team, a topic that has completely enamored the fans of the 'blanquirojo' club.
The Colombian has contributed both in goals and assists, in addition to being seen happy in the club, earning more and more of the numerous fanbase of the greatest football team in Greece.
Olympiacos wants to ensure James stays and doesn't leave, which is why they are considering rewarding the '10' and renewing his contract for one more year, so that another club doesn't easily take him away, as reported by 'La Luz' newspaper.

It is worth remembering that Rodríguez has a contract with Olympiacos until June 1, 2023, so in the next transfer window in January, he could negotiate with another team. That's why the Greek club wants to secure the ex-Real Madrid player for a longer period.
