The Colts are in the market for a new coach.
Frank Reich has been fired in the middle of his fifth season with the team, ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported.
The final straw was a 26-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday, in which Indianapolis managed just 121 yards of total offense.
The Colts are a disappointing 3-5-1 this season. In the offseason, the team acquired Matt Ryan from the Falcons to be an upgrade over Carson Wentz at starting quarterback, but the team struggled out of the gate. Ryan ended up getting benched for second-year QB Sam Ehlinger.
Reich finishes his tenure with the Colts with a 40-33-1 record in the regular season, and 1-2 in the playoffs.
