Jack Hurtado, album collector and founder of the store 'La Casa de las Figuritas' and the first 'Football Collectibles Museum', gives us simple recommendations to efficiently fill our album in an interview for the group El Comercio, and the best part is, without spending too much money.
"I am going to pass on the advice of one of the greatest Mexican collectors, Raúl Valencia, who said that nowadays it is not about quickly filling the album, before there was that competition, but today the goal is to complete the album in the cheapest way possible because costs have increased a lot," says the album collector.

Tips to fill the Qatar 2022 World Cup album
- Save your money to buy a box or a big pack: "With this pack, we start filling the album with 104 envelopes of five stickers each. There, we already advance 80% of the collection. Remember that there are duplicates in the big pack."
- Buy the second big pack with someone else: Collecting is an individual matter. First, you collect stickers on your own, but you can't fill the album alone, you need someone to support you. You can find a friend to buy another big pack and split the envelopes in half. Then, you would almost have the album completed."
- Make a list of the stickers you're missing: "In the past, it used to be done by hand, but today there are applications that have a checklist where you mark the stickers you have and the duplicates. Then, the application will show you the stickers you need."
- Look for a sticker exchange marathon: "You must find out about sticker exchange events that take place in squares, parks, shopping centers, or in your own district. You can also exchange stickers with your classmates, co-workers, or family members."
"This simple way, people will be able to complete their album quickly and economically, without spending a fortune... People worry about filling the album, but not about preserving it, and that is the most important thing. I do not advise taking the album to the exchange place, it is better to stick the stickers when you have everything complete because flipping through the pages damages the album's staples and the pages end up coming off," warns Jack Hurtado.
