The lifelong breath: Spectacular demonstration a few hours before Peru vs. Mexico [VIDEO]

Sábado 24 de Septiembre del 2022

A large number of fans were present outside the Peruvian National Team concentration to show their support just a few hours before facing Mexico.

The day has come. The Peruvian National Team will have its first challenge with Juan Reynoso as coach this Saturday against Mexico in the friendly match that will be played at the Rose Bowl stadium in Los Angeles. As it has always happened when the 'Blanquirroja' plays outside our territory, the fans made themselves present to show their support.

The Peruvians living in the United States gathered and went in a multitude to the outskirts of the concentration of the 'Bicolor', with banners, music, and the unconditional support that they always show.

Regarding Reynoso's plan for this match, yesterday he had his last training session and left everything ready to face Gerardo Martino's team. This will be his official debut and the former Cruz Azul coach hopes to start on the right foot.

It won't be an easy rival, because despite some doubts in their collective performance in recent matches, Mexico has a solid base of players, all of them consolidated and with experience in World Cups and Qualifiers. The 'Tata' is in need of a victory, since after losing their last friendly match against Paraguay, they started questioning his continuity towards the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Peru's lineup against Mexico

After the last week's training sessions, Juan Reynoso decided to maintain the solid base of the Peruvian National Team and will set up a very similar scheme to the last few matches prior to his arrival. The clearest variation will be the partnership formed by Renato Tapia and Pedro Aquino in midfield. Up front, André Carrillo, Edison Flores, Christian Cueva, and Gianluca Lapadula will lead the offense.

In this way, the 'Cabezón's' starting eleven will be as follows: Pedro Gallese as goalkeeper; Aldo Corzo, Anderson Santamaria, Alexander Callens, and Marcos López in the defensive line; Renato Tapia and Pedro Aquino in midfield; André Carrillo, Edison Flores, Christian Cueva as playmakers behind Gianluca Lapadula, the lone striker.
