The parents of Peruvian national team midfielder Christian Cueva are worried because unknown individuals detonated an explosive at the door of their house in the Primavera urbanization in Trujillo.
The residents of the area called the Explosives Deactivation Unit (Udex), and agents from the El Alambre police station arrived at the scene for investigations. According to police information, the property suffered material damage, and they initially indicated that it could be an extortion.
The media outlet "Buenapepa" contacted one of the player's brothers, Marcial Cueva, and he expressed his astonishment at the alleged attack at the door of his parents' home.
"Right now we are here (Primavera urbanization) with my parents. Worried and surprised by this. If it was extortion, they would already be threatening us. The cameras in the house show everything, the police have it. I can't tell you anything else," said "Cuevita's" brother to the aforementioned media outlet a few days ago.
