The sports journalist used his social media to talk about it and criticize the decisions of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) and the president of the institution, Agustin Lozano.

"To my Peruvian friends... Do you want to keep Gareca and offer him less than half of what he used to earn? Is that how you want to retain him? It's a joke!" Liberman began.

Additionally, the ESPN host stated that the operation is not being seen as a positive acquisition: "They must understand that it is an investment, not an expense. I don't understand Lozano. Does he really want to retain him or is he playing for the fans?"

The 'Tigre' Gareca leaves the national team and the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) will have the difficult task of finding his replacement. Who will assume the responsibility?
