"Tonight I will be traveling to Buenos Aires with a technical team from the FPF. We have the confidence and certainty that things will be positive, but it will be the coach who will give us the answer. We are going in search of it," Agustín Lozano declared to RPP.
Similarly, he made it clear that Ricardo Gareca's decision is not only about the economic aspect but also about a good "working model". The FPF has been working on it to convince the "Tigre", so the meeting scheduled in Argentina will be crucial hours.
"Beyond the economic proposal, it also has to do with a working model. With the experience accumulated all this time, the other categories can also be strengthened. There is an interesting proposal for the coach", he added.

Likewise, Ricardo Gareca made it clear that he wants to work with respect to the youth categories. Agustín Lozano has a plan for this that will be presented face to face to the Argentine coach.
"We have to give Peru a guarantee for future World Cups. That means close coordination with work with the youth," he pointed out.
Finally, he indicated that Ricardo Gareca's trip to Argentina is purely a vacation issue. It was the "Tigre's" decision, so now the FPF will be in charge of seeking the renewal in the coach's hometown.
"We hold evaluation meetings from time to time, and this time it will be in Buenos Aires because Ricardo wanted to take a few days of vacation there. The meeting being there is not for any other reason," he concluded.
When will Ricardo Gareca give his answer?
Ricardo Gareca is scheduled to give an answer to the FPF and all the Peruvian fans by July 15th. It is expected that this meeting with Agustín Lozano will be key to reaching a good agreement.
