Christofer Gonzales was announced as the new player of Al Adalah in Saudi Arabia, which marks his departure from Sporting Cristal. Prior to his trip to his new league, the popular 'Canchita' was in Matute witnessing the match between the 'rimenses' and Sport Huancayo.

In statements to Radio Ovación outside the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, the Peruvian national team midfielder also thanked the treatment of the Cristal fans and left a message for the future.
"I am very happy for the reception of the people and soon we will be back. Thank you very much to all the fans for the affection received since I arrived, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish the best to the team and my teammates, I will miss you a lot but soon we will be back," he said.
Likewise, Gonzales stated that he is in a good footballing state, which augurs success in Middle Eastern football. "Without a doubt, I am at my best, more mature, and we must do it in the best way in my new club. The personal outlook is different when playing abroad," he added.
Finally, he assured that he contacted André Carrillo and Christian Cueva, who play for Al Hilal and Al Fateh in the Arab League, respectively. "I talked a little with them and surely we will see each other," he concluded.
Christofer Gonzales scored seven goals and provided one assist in the 13 matches he played with the Sporting Cristal jersey during the 2022 Apertura Tournament of the Liga 1; while also scoring another goal in five Copa Libertadores matches. During his stay in Rímac (since 2019), the midfielder celebrated the national title in 2020.
