The judges of the competition scored Tudela's amazing maneuver with 7.20 points, and he accumulated a total of 14.30, leaving the American surfer Colapinto (12.60) out of the race.
Miguel Tudela participated in the Oi Rio Pro in Brazil, the eighth stage of the World Tour of the World Surfing League (WSL), after receiving a wild card invitation.
