The day has arrived. The Peruvian National Team will seek to successfully complete the qualification process when they face Australia on Monday in Doha. The team led by Ricardo Gareca hopes to touch glory again in this new play-off, just like they did against New Zealand in 2017, and secure their ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

"For the millions of Peruvians who always believed! Our 'blanquirroja' is going for the qualification to the 2022 Qatar World Cup", was the brief message from the Peruvian National Team accompanied by a photo of the usual Peruvian starting eleven.

Regarding the starting team, coach Ricardo Gareca has a doubt in his starting lineup, as Yoshimar Yotún is uncertain due to muscle discomfort. His replacement would be Christofer Gonzales.

Peru reached this match after finishing in fifth place in the South American qualifiers. In their last match, they defeated New Zealand 1-0 with a goal from Gianluca Lapadula, in the friendly match played in Barcelona, Spain.

Peru's Starting Eleven

If there are no setbacks, the Peruvian National Team would line up as follows: Pedro Gallese; Luis Advíncula, Carlos Zambrano, Alexander Callens, Miguel Trauco; Renato Tapia, Sergio Peña, Yotún (Christofer Gonzales); André Carrillo, Christian Cueva; and Gianluca Lapadula.
