Through social media, Sabadell, a third division team from Spain, left a message to the Peruvian National Team after defeating them: they highlighted the final score and congratulated their players, but also wished the best of luck to the Peruvians who will be playing for their spot in the 2022 World Cup on June 13: "Good luck in the playoff for the World Cup, Peruvian National Team", said Sabadell's social media accounts, which also posted some photos of the match featuring the captains. Gabriel Costa wore the armband for Peru.
