The Peruvian national team forward hopes to perform well in the friendly match against New Zealand and in the crucial playoff match. Ormeño has not been able to fully convince the fans, but he has the mentality to give his all for the national team in this critical moment to reach the World Cup.
That is why he now receives the greetings from his own club León, which published the image of Santiago Ormeño as a representative of the Peruvian national team for this playoff match on social media.
"International beasts. Some of our players are getting ready to wear their national team's jersey in the international games next June. We wish them great success!" wrote León FC with Santiago Ormeño in their post.
Alongside Santiago Ormeño, the names of Rodolfo Cota, Saúl Zamora, and Fidel Ambriz can also be seen, who will be wearing the Mexican national team's colors. Likewise, Ángel Mena will be with Ecuador during the respective FIFA international break.
