The last time we saw Bryson DeChambeau, he was missing the cut at the Masters, which was a third straight MC for the golfer who was once among the top-ranked golfers in the world not too long ago.
In April, he had surgery on his left wrist, and since then he’s updated the world on his progress back to hitting on social media — on April 28, the stitches were out. There were a few photos of his healing wrist — warning, those might be gruesome to some viewers! — and then there’s this video of him taking a full swing with a speed measured at 192 MPH
Oooo! So could he play? From The Golf Channel:
According to Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis, DeChambeau is scheduled to fly to Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Monday and begin preparation at Southern Hills Country Club. If there are “no major issues” to DeChambeau’s surgically repaired left hand, Lewis says, DeChambeau will compete in the year’s second major.
