The Peruvian Judo Sports Federation will organize the Pan American and Oceania Cadet, Junior and Senior Championship Lima 2022 to be held at the Videna Sports Complex from April 9 to 17.
The presence of excellent world-class judokas such as Rafael Silva from Brazil (+100 kg), 2-time bronze medalist at the Olympics London 2012 and Rio 2016, stands out. Also, Christa Deguchi from Canada (-57 kg.), world champion in Tokyo 2019; and Mayra Aguiar from Brazil (-78 kg), 3-time bronze medalist in the Olympics London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020.
Also participating will be Rafaela Silva from Brazil (-57 kg.), gold medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016; her compatriot Ketleyn Cuadros (-63 kg.), bronze medalist at Beijing 2008; and Catherine Beauchemin -Pinard from Canada (-63 kg.), bronze medalist in Tokyo 2020.
Among the highlights of the national team are Juan Miguel Postigos , a three-time Olympian and bronze medalist at the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games; Yuliana Bolívar , bronze medalist at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games; and Yuta Galarreta , also bronze medalist in Lima 2019.

The event, which has the support of the Peruvian Institute of Sport, begins on April 9 with the cadet competitions from 9.00 in the morning until late afternoon. The next day, the Junior Tournament continues with the same schedule, and then on April 11, the Junior Mixed Teams Tournament.
On April 12 and 13, the Training Camp and Referee Seminar will be held, where those selected for the upcoming Judo World Championships and Olympic Games will be selected.
Then on April 15, the first day of Senior competitions will take place, and on the following day, the same Senior competitions will take place. Finally, on April 17, the competition will conclude with the Senior Mixed Teams. Our delegation is made up of the following national judokas:
