Projectiles thrown by Colo Colo fans in the draw last Saturday, 1-1 against Audax Italiano did not go unnoticed, and referee Juan Lara included them in a damning report that could result in harsh punishments for the "albo" team and the Monumental Stadium.
"The game was stopped three times due to the throwing of objects towards the field, from different sectors of the stadium, putting the physical integrity of the players at risk," the mentioned referee pointed out.
"Once the match finishes and the players of Audax Italiano are leaving the field, more projectiles fall from the Arica sector," adds the report.
During the match, goalkeeper Joaquín Muñoz displayed debris that was thrown at him by the Colo Colo supporters, a situation that, when reported by the referee, could bring severe consequences for the club.
The "albo" team, which already has a penalty of playing without fans in several of its away games, now risks up to five games without fans as the home team, something that could affect the Superclásico against Universidad de Chile, the next match of the "Cacique" as host.
