After rescinding his contract with FC Emmen, Didier La Torre chose to play for Osijek in the Croatian First Division. Our compatriot signed until mid-2025. The club presented him as a young promise in the club.
The 19-year-old player pointed out to the club's website in what position he plays: "I like to play as a number ten, but I can also play on both wings. Which one am I better at? I don't like to talk about myself, but if I really have to, I think I'm good at one-on-one play. In addition, I have a lot of confidence in my shooting. But I have to show it all on the field. My desire is to reach the level of this team as soon as possible and show my playing qualities," he began.

"I am very happy to have come to Osijek; I see that this is an ambitious club. (...) I feel good, I am happy to be able to train at a high level and I want to continue developing my playing qualities and help the team," were the first words of La Torre.
The coach of the club, Nenad Bjelica, mentioned that they gave him a contract that they give to all their promising players. "Regarding contracts, we have a principle according to which we give contracts to our young and most talented players who we see as the future. He also received the same contract; we believe he will prevail and spend a long time here in Osijek," he concluded.
