Former goalkeeper of the Peruvian National Team, Raúl Fernández, would continue playing in the First Division of Peruvian soccer, as he has offers from several teams in the Liga 1, including squads that will play an international tournament.
According to journalist Gustavo Peralta, the national goalkeeper is free to sign with any first division team, and in the coming days he will decide which team he will face the 2022 season with.
"Raúl Fernández is free, he finished his contract with Binacional, and has options from several teams in Liga 1. The goalkeeper is on vacation in the United States, but in the coming days he will decide his future. He could play for a team that will play an international tournament", he stated on his personal Twitter account.
With this information, he would be the third player from 'Poderoso del Sur' to leave the institution, as Johan Arango and Marlon de Jesús are in the plans of Carlos Stein and Cusco FC for the 2022 season.
It is worth noting that, throughout 2021, Raúl Fernández was able to play a total of 19 matches with Deportivo Binacional, in which he conceded 41 goals.
