Italian Serie A had an electrifying midweek filled with exciting games corresponding to the tenth round. Napoli closed the matchday with a solid 3-0 victory over Bologna at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. This way, the sky blues remain at the top of the standings with 28 points, but with a better goal difference than the second-placed team.
AC Milan is the closest pursuer of Napoli, as they are tied on points and are only five goals behind. The Rossoneri also won again: this time they had a tough match at San Siro against Torino, whom they defeated by the minimum difference (1-0). Olivier Giroud scored the winning goal.

Juventus hosted Sassuolo in Turin on Wednesday, but lost 2-1 with a last-minute goal from Maxime Lopez. The Vecchia Signora has had a terrible start to the season and has only achieved four wins, three draws, and three defeats in the Italian football season. They are currently seventh with 15 points, almost half of the top teams' points.
Inter returned to the path of victory away against Empoli, winning 2-0 with goals from D'Ambrosio and Dimarco. The Nerazzurri team had drawn 1-1 with the Bianconeri in the previous matchday and with these three points, they are third with 21 points, seven points behind Milan and Napoli.

AS Roma also returned to winning ways in Serie A, with its victim being Cagliari, whom they defeated 2-1 away with goals from Ibañez and Pellegrini. They remain fourth in the table. On the other hand, Atalanta - one step below the Giallorossi - defeated Sampdoria 3-1 away from home. And Lazio did the same at home (1-0) against Fiorentina.
