Matias Zagazeta Makes History in the F4 British Championship
After 30 rounds, Matias Zagazeta concluded the 2021 season by making history as the South American driver with the most podium finishes, totaling 11 trophies: 4 in first place, 6 in second place, and 1 in third place, accumulating a total of 306 points, which earned him the runner-up position in the F4 British Championship.
"We finished second in the 2021 championship, and while it could have been more, I am content because I have given everything for my country, and this achievement is the result of all the commitment and sacrifice that was made on and off the track. Each trophy of the season was the product of teamwork," the national driver began saying.

Matias Zagazeta finished second in the overall standings of the F4 British Championship. The Peruvian driver, who had the support of the company WIN, reached the final round of the F4 British Championship with a total of 284 points and just 12 points behind the British champion Matthew Rees.
However, on the last Saturday, he had an incident in the seventh lap of the first race that took him out of the race, and for the second race, he finished ninth. On Sunday, he started from second place and didn't stop until crossing the finish line, setting the fastest lap of the final round of the year in a grid of 14 cars.
