The national pilot Eduardo Castro Yangali won the RC3 division in the WRC of the World Rally that took place last Sunday in the locality Bio Bio, in Chile, and put Peru at the top of one of the most important competitions in the world.
Based on constancy and perseverance, Eduardo Castro Yangali and his co-pilot Fernando Mussano, achieved victory thanks to the study of the route in the days before the competition, which allowed them to know the stretches well in order to take advantage of them.

After the abandonment of Paraguayan pilot Domínguez, the Castro Yangali Team achieved victory and gave the country first place. This had not been achieved since the last achievement by Nicolás Fuchs.

This date of the World Rally, which took place from September 29th to October 1st, was the last competition of the year in which Eduardo Castro participated. He previously attended the ones in Guanajuato-Mexico; Portugal, Sardinia-Italy; Acropolis-Greece and now in Bio Bio.
After this achievement, Eduardo Castro Yangali will return to Peru to prepare himself thoroughly for his participation in Caminos del Inca, integrating the Castro Yangali Team. He will have his brother Carlos and Nicolás Fuchs as teammates in the "Peruvian Army," who will seek to win this 51st edition of the country's most important test.
