The Peruvian National Team has already overcome the painful defeat suffered against Bolivia and now, it is focused on facing their next match against the powerful Argentine selection. That's why the Blanquirroja is already in the city of Buenos Aires, in order to plan this transcendental match.
For this purpose, Ricardo Gareca's team will follow an established schedule of activities leading up to the Thursday duel at the Estadio Monumental de River Plate, which will be the last match that the Blanquirroja will play in this triple matchweek.
The coach of the squad has planned to work on four sessions in Buenos Aires with the aim of breaking a bad streak against the 'Albiceleste': he has never beaten them since he took over the team in 2015.
For example, this Monday, the Peruvian National Team began training at 2:00 p.m. (Peruvian time) at the Argentina Olympic Village, where they carried out regenerative work with the players who played against 'La Verde'.
On Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13, they will work at the Estadio José Amalfitani, the venue where Vélez Sarsfield plays at home, and during those practices, they will begin analyzing who could be the starting players for this match between Peruvians and Argentines.
Finally, on Thursday 14, a training session has been scheduled in the morning at the same Estadio Monumental, in order to fine-tune some details before the match against Argentina.
