Alianza Lima Receives Good News On Ownership Dispute
Alianza Lima has received good news as the Specialized Civil Court ruled in favor of the club in the first instance regarding the adverse possession process that was initiated by Aposento Alto Church over three lots it had acquired on the grounds of the stadium. This implies that the 'blanquiazul' club is declared as the owner of the lots.
Background on the Dispute
As a reminder, the 'íntimo' team and Alberto Santana Levina's church were in dispute over a section of the area that the club uses as a parking lot. According to the pastor, he paid substantial amounts for these lands. However, according to Public Records, one of the negotiations took place between Aposento Alto and an alleged 93-year-old owner named Julio Saquicuray Pérez.
Alianza Lima's Response
Nevertheless, Club Alianza Lima vehemently denied these claims and took to their social media platforms to expose the Christian church after they entered the premises in the early hours of September 10, 2018. At that time, the 'blanquiazule' fans gathered at 'Matute' to confront the members of Aposento Alto.
