James Rodríguez does not stop achieving success. This Monday, the Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFHHS) chose the most outstanding of 2015.
The Cucuta-born player appears in ninth place among the best organizers of 2015, a title that was won by Lionel Messi, a four-time winner of the Ballon d'Or, who was awarded for the first time in his career with the 'brain' of the year award, a prize previously won by German Toni Kroos.
'La Pulga' accumulated 168 points, surpassing his teammate Andrés Iniesta (91), winner of this trophy in 2012 and 2013, and Italian Andrea Pirlo (54), while Belgians Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Kevin de Bruyne (Wolfsburg/Manchester City) came close to the podium with 22 points each.
Ivorian Yaya Toure (Manchester City), with 13, occupied the sixth place, just ahead of the trio of Madrid players consisting of German Toni Kroos (11), Croatian Luka Modric (11), and Colombian James Rodríguez (10).
