Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, assured that he feels "capable" of solving the bad moment that his team is going through, after suffering two consecutive defeats against Cádiz in the league and Shakhtar in the Champions League, in a match in which he recognized that they "lacked everything", especially "confidence".

"I don't think it's a lack of desire, it's true that we didn't start the game well, conceding a goal after a mistake. From there, confidence starts to diminish because we had just lost in the league. It's a difficult second consecutive defeat, but in football, there are bad moments, we have had them in the past and we have to hold our heads up and continue together. We need maximum concentration on Saturday (against Barcelona) to have a great game," he said, already focusing on the clasico.

"It's not a lack of attitude, it was a lack of everything when they scored three goals in the first half. It was a difficult game for us, we lacked everything but above all confidence, which is the most important thing," he added.

Zidane is pleased with the reaction of his players in the second half and took full responsibility for the poor result: "I am responsible. I must have done something wrong because the first half was negative. The players try to press high, but when they score a goal, everything changes and it has cost us."

"We must not forget the previous games we played. Today is the second defeat and we are not happy, but we will not give up. This has just begun and together we want to turn it around. We can overcome this together," he insisted.

From now on, the Real Madrid coach made it clear that he accepts the defeat and is preparing for the clasico at Camp Nou on Saturday to bounce back: "My players don't deserve these things. It was a bad game and a bad night. I am the coach and I have to find the solution. I didn't find it tonight."

"I see myself capable and I'm going to try. The players are going to try, today's match doesn't change anything, we have to find the solution. We know the situation we are in after a second bad game and now we have to prepare well for Saturday's match to turn things around," he added.

Zidane, although he admitted it was a "difficult defeat," tried to end on a positive note: "We have to endure because what is gray today, the sun will come out tomorrow. Football is sometimes complicated and it has been a difficult night, but I am very positive and I believe in this squad."
