Barrio Obrero's Cyclone confirms Sergio Diaz's departure

The Barrio Obrero's Cyclone released a statement on Wednesday confirming Sergio Diaz's departure, whose future lies in Mexican football. The footballer was one of the desired players by Francisco Arce, and the blue and garnet institution worked on an extension of the loan with Real Madrid.

However, the club's released document points to Diaz's agent, who made a different decision than what was discussed.

"Cerro Porteño has carried out the corresponding procedures, managing to agree on a loan extension with Real Madrid, but the decision made by the player's representative is contrary to what had been agreed," says part of the text that later wishes success to the player who came out of the blue and garnet academy.
