He played just like his rival. Braun Strowman retained his universal title from SmackDown after defeating Bray Wyatt at WWE Money in the Bank 2020.
In a close match between both stars, there was a moment when Strowman seemed to align with Wyatt by taking off his 'black sheep' mask, a character he was part of in the "Wyatt Family".
The challenger became overconfident and thought that the champion would join a new faction that, this time, would be perfect. After a hug, Strowman broke the mask and performed a "powerslam" on his rival to retain his championship.
