The Peruvian national team sent an emotional message to encourage citizens to continue complying with the social distancing decreed by the government to stop the coronavirus.
The national team used their official Twitter account on Wednesday to send an encouraging message to all citizens to raise awareness in the fight against COVID-19 in our country.
"The day will come when we will hug again and say that we were able to overcome thanks to the unity of all Peruvians," tweeted the Peruvian squad, accompanied by a photograph.
They also included the hashtags #StayAtHome and #GoPeru in the post. As it is remembered, President Martín Vizcarra announced on Wednesday that the state of emergency will be extended until April 26.
