Coronavirus: FPF organizes FIFA 20 tournament to entertain fans during quarantine.

The Peruvian Football Federation, with the aim of continuing to contribute to the provisions issued by the Government for the prevention of COVID-19, announced the organization of the online tournament #YoMeQuedoEnCasaFPF of the FIFA 20 video game by EA Sports.

The competition will consist of online friendly matches in 1 vs 1 mode. During the final phase, the qualified players will share a team with members of the Peruvian national football team.

The phases of the tournament are as follows:

-Phase 1: Four individual qualifying rounds will be played (maximum 128 players per round) that will end with the qualification of four participants in each of them.

-Phase 2: It will be played in a single round with the participants qualified from Phase 1 and will end with four players remaining.

-Phase 3: The four finalists will be drawn to share a team with players from the Peruvian national team to determine the champion of the tournament.

Dates for each phase of the competition (Registration from March 30th to 31st):

-Phase 1 Rounds 1 and 2: Wednesday, April 1st.

-Phase 1 Rounds 3 and 4: Thursday, April 2nd.

-Phase 2: Friday, April 3rd.

-Phase 3: Saturday, April 4th.

On the first day of the competition, participants will be provided with an access manual on the proper use of the platform from where the tournament organization will be directed.

The requirements to participate in the tournament are as follows:

-Being of Peruvian nationality and residing in Peru.

-Being 18 years old or older.

-Using NAT2 connection.
