"We have everything planned for the Melbourne race next week. The circuit is being finalized, the material and personnel will arrive in the coming days, and we expect to open the doors to the public on March 12," said the CEO of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Andrew Westacott, in a statement.
"The health and safety of everyone is paramount. We are working in collaboration with health agencies and government and emergency service organizations to address the issue."
According to Westacott, "there are currently no indications of travel bans or teams having trouble getting to Australia, as always. Formula One has confirmed that the Australian Grand Prix will take place, and we look forward to welcoming them and the teams to Melbourne," he adds.
