Real Madrid continues to focus on young talent, with the commonality that it comes to the club from Brazil. Vinicius and Rodrygo are part of the present of the white team, and the next bet is Reinier Jesús, 18 years old, who was officially presented in the honor box of the Santiago Bernabéu.
"I want to be part of the history of this great club," said the young midfielder, who traveled to Spain after finishing his participation with the Brazilian national team in the Pre-Olympic Tournament held in Colombia.
"It's a very happy day, I fulfill a childhood dream," added the new Madrid player, whose signing was announced on January 20. Reinier has signed until June 2026 as part of Real Madrid's policy of signing young talent before it becomes prohibitively expensive. According to the Spanish press, his signing was completed for 30 million euros.
"One of the obsessions of this club is the search for talent wherever it is, that's why we are incorporating young players who can be the great figures of the future," mentioned Florentino Pérez, president of the institution.
Reinier was formed in the lower divisions of Flamengo, where he was considered for the first team during the 2019 season, being part of the conquest of the Brasileirao and the Copa Libertadores.
As has been the case with his compatriots, the midfielder will join the work of the Madrid subsidiary, working under the orders of Raúl González Blanco.
