The dream of every WWE wrestler is to main event WrestleMania, the company's most important event. In order to achieve this, apart from the storylines created by the executives, there is a place that grants them a direct pass to the "Showcase of the Immortals": the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
Although the 30-man battle royal was created in 1988, it has been since 1991 that the last man standing in the ring is given the opportunity to challenge the company's top champion. The winners begin their journey to the top positions in the company after this victory.
Throughout history, Stone Cold Steve Austin has been the wrestler with the most wins in the Royal Rumble: 3 occasions. However, very close to him are Hogan, Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista with two wins each.
